NEWS: Hollywood Actor & Comedian, Tracy Morgan Critically Hurt In Fatal Six-Car Pileup

Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan, who hosted the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, was critically injured in a fatal six-vehicle pileup on the New Jersey Turnpike on Saturday, hours after performing a standup routine at a show in Delaware, authorities said.

A limousine bus carrying the former "Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock" cast member and six others overturned near Cranbury Township at about 1 a.m., Sgt. 1st Class Greg Williams told The Associated Press.

James McNair, of Peekskill, New York, a passenger in the limo bus, died in the crash, Williams said. Three others, including Morgan, were in critical condition, and one was in fair condition, he said. Two occupants weren't injured.

Williams declined to release details of the accident, including what may have caused the pileup involving two tractor-trailers, an SUV, two cars and Morgan's limo bus.

Morgan is in intensive care at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Center in New Brunswick. Reporters gathering at the hospital were asked to wait across on the street until information could be released.

Morgan performed comedy standup Friday night at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Delaware. His scheduled appearance at the Fillmore Charlotte in North Carolina on Saturday night has been canceled.

The 45-year-old New York City native joined "SNL" in 1996 and was on the sketch-comedy program for seven years before leaving to star in "The Tracy Morgan Show" in 2003. That show lasted just one season. In 2006, Morgan found a long-running role on NBC's hit show "30 Rock," which was created by "SNL" co-star Tina Fey.

Morgan grew up fatherless, one of five siblings, in a blighted section of Brooklyn, where he helped raise and support the family.

He once called his gift for being funny "a defense mechanism" for his miserable circumstances. As a teen, he started doing comedy on the streets to supplement the family's welfare income.

He had a kidney transplant in late 2010.

The New Jersey Turnpike was closed for more than five hours after the crash!

LIFESTYLE: 5 Stupid Things A Guy Can Do To Make A Woman Lose All Respect For Him

A woman’s respect is like virginity: Once you lose it, you’re basically never getting it back. However, while you were probably eager to get rid of your V-card, you definitely don’t want to lose her admiration.

Let me be the first to tell you that it’s not as easy as it seems. While it goes without saying that certain things pose a risk to losing a female’s respect — being caught in a lie, cheating, etc. — there are other less obvious threats that unfortunately happen to line up with a lot of guys’ innate behaviours and tendencies.

Don’t take your chances. Avoid these habits and you’ll hold on to your dignity:

FIRING TOO FAST
It happens. In fact, it’s an unfortunate but uncontrollable scenario that struck the men before you and the men before them. You finished too quickly during sex, and even though it’s pitch black in the room, you can still see her disappointment.

It’s enough to nearly destroy every shred of masculinity you have, but don’t let it.

There will be times when the climax occurs a tad quicker than you wanted it to, but the worst thing in the world you can do is start apologizing, or worse, feel sorry for yourself. The second you start making up embarrassing excuses for why it happened, showing shame or over explaining, she starts to lose respect.

Instead, take her by surprise, turn the tables and do whatever it takes to make sure that she gets off. She’ll definitely forget all about the fact that you were once a three-minute man.

GIVING UP TOO EASILY
In your mind, letting a lady “win” every battle is the right way to go. However, it’s the kiss of death in terms of your self-esteem.

When you constantly “yes” her, give up during every little altercation and cater to her every whim, she subconsciously realizes that she has total control.

No woman can respect a man who lets her get away with everything. Most of us women want to be called out when we’re being unreasonable or shady.

It’s okay to agree to disagree on something. Differences are what make relationships more interesting, more dynamic and more passionate. Moreover, asserting yourself builds confidence, which is the key to having her look up to you.

SURRENDERING TO JEALOUSY
Jealousy is a funny thing. A total lack of it in any relationship raises a female’s suspicion that you’re not at all worried about losing her. However, too much of it makes you come off as pathetic.

That means you can’t get paranoid any time she’s hanging out with guy friends or strike up a fight with every guy who smiles in her direction at a bar. You might be tempted to lose it, but doing so shows self-doubt and makes you very unattractive.

It’s natural to have a protective instinct, but channel it to prove how much you care, not how insecure you are.

LOATHING YOUR JOB ... AND DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT
If you lack ambition, you might as well have erectile dysfunction. No woman is attracted to a guy who constantly complains about his career.

Obviously, not everyone is fortunate enough to have his or her dream job, but if you’re too lazy to make a change or at least aspire to do something different, you’re going to have a tough time convincing a lady you have any drive or integrity.

It’s also a major turn-off to any female because if you aren’t passionate enough about something to pursue it, how can you possibly sustain the spark in a relationship? You don’t necessarily have to love what you do, but at least have a plan, or a hobby — anything that excites you.

FLAKING OUT
There are so many uncertainties all around us: Your company could shut down tomorrow, and your best friend could move away next week.

Life is full of disappointments and the last thing this planet needs is men who make more of them. If you say you’re going to call, do it. If you promised to meet her friends on Friday, be there even if you’re freaked out about it.

Of course, things will come up occasionally that will shatter your plans. The more consistent you are, the clearer you can demonstrate that you’re dependable and a man of your word.

The point is, a woman needs someone she can count on. So you want respect? Then for the love of God, just follow through!

LIFESTYLE: 7 Ways You Can Think Yourself Into Success

Have you ever thought you can’t be successful because you don’t have enough money, don’t live in the right city, don’t have the right connections or don’t know anyone willing to help you? I have many times, and I’m here to tell you, you need to relax.

Does anxiety ever bring about anything productive?

No, but this behaviour is normal. We all struggle for ways to cope with worry because humans are programmed to rely on fear to help ease rejection. Often we don’t try hard enough to achieve our goals because our mind is trying to protect us from failing.

So, what’s the good news, you ask? The secret is that the outside world has nothing to do with making your dreams come true: Success is a decision.

You must consciously pay attention to your thoughts and realize that negativity is preventing you from flourishing. You are the only one who decides your fate; we are masters of our own universe.

Here are some of the best ways to turn your dreams into a reality:

PRACTICE GRATITUDE, RIGHT NOW
I really can’t stress enough what this simple technique has brought to my life. I think every woman at some point thinks she is not good enough, and there’s always someone smarter, prettier, more successful and more desirable.

The only relief I have ever found for this concern is being thankful. We always think about what we don’t have, and we constantly compare ourselves to others.

Take the chance to stop for one moment and realize what you do have. You probably have much more than most people. How can you use those resources to get what you really want from life? Think about it.

WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU WANT AND BE SPECIFIC
Figure out what you really want before trying to make it happen. Just thinking you want to be rich, famous, live in a big city or have the perfect relationship doesn’t cut it.

You must come up with a plan and find something specific that excites you. If it’s a tall, handsome man with blue eyes, so be it. Once you write it down, it’s on its way to becoming real.

TRUST YOUR GUT
If you have to think twice about what you’re writing down, don’t write it. Don’t force yourself to do something just because other people tell you to do it; this exercise is about you. Everyone is unique and has different passions in life, so trust that all is possible.

BELIEVE THAT YOUR GOALS WILL COME TRUE
It doesn’t matter if you live in a small town in the Midwest, or in the African wilderness; the universe has a way of bringing things to you that it believes you really want.

I grew up on St. Maarten, a small island in the Caribbean, but I always believed I would be writing and selling books in New York City.

When I was 12 years old, I used to practice my signature for people. Suddenly, as if no time had passed at all, I found myself in NYC working in fashion. Even though I still hung onto my dream of being a published author, I thought maybe I had gotten my dreams wrong.

Still, I went with the flow, trusting that the universe knew what I wanted, and this year I published my first novel. So, read what you write down; read it every day until you believe it.

PAY ATTENTION TO COINCIDENCE OR DEJA VU
Coincidences are not always just random events; they are hints that help turn your dreams into your reality. You must consciously recognize them and pay attention to the signs. How do they fit into your plan for success?

FORGIVE YOURSELF FOR YOUR MISTAKES AND LIVE IN THE PRESENT MOMENT
We all make mistakes, but they are in the past now. You can’t change your blunders, but you can learn from them. Everyone regrets things they have done; the trick is to live in the present moment and pay attention to what’s happening right now.

Don’t miss those little coincidences because you’re stuck on feeling guilty about something you can’t change. Move forward with your dreams.

BE PATIENT, ENJOY THE JOURNEY AND LOSE THE EMOTIONS
Enjoy the good and the bad. Once you recognize that you’re always learning, you’re able to step back and analyze your experiences. One of my favorite quotes is, “This too shall pass.” This saying applies to all things, not only the bad.

When you realize that the good times will come and go as well, you stop having the highs and lows that really play with your emotions and make you lose sight of what’s really important.

LIFESTYLE: 8 Things You Need To Stop Doing If You Don’t Want To End Up Alone In Life

People are always complaining about being alone. I’ll have people ask me, regularly, where they can find the love of their life. The truth is that I have no idea.

There is, however, a way to increase your chances of finding a special someone. This doesn’t necessarily involve doing more. On the contrary, it involves you doing less. If you want to find the love of your life, then you need to stop doing these things ASAP:

1. STOP FOCUSING SO INTENTLY ON YOUR WANTS
We are human and, therefore, are creatures filled with urges. Our wants aren’t always logical, they aren’t always wise, nor are they always beneficial – they’re simply pleasant. Or, at least we believe that they will be. The problem with focusing on your wants is that we have no limit to our bounds.

We want to experience everything in life because it’s the pleasures that entice us to continue exploring, to continue living.

However, living a life of self-indulgence quickly goes sour. The more we want, the more we will want. This doesn’t work if we’re expected to be faithful and happy with a single individual. Eventually, you have to say that you have enough in your life and be happy with it.

2. STOP LISTENING WITH THE PURPOSE OF RESPONDING
People rarely listen in order to hear. We all listen with the intent of giving a response. The one thing that relationships have taught me is that the other person isn’t always looking for advice.

Often they simply want someone who will sit there and listen to the things they have to say. People sometimes want to unload their problems with no judgment and no guidelines. If you want to find someone to spend your life with, then take the time to really listen to what it is he or she has to say.

3. STOP THINKING THAT YOU'RE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE WORLD - NOW THERE ARE TWO OF YOU
The thing about love is that it allows us the rarity of living an almost-double life. When you are with the person you love, the two of you are capable of understanding each other on a very deep level. This allows you to empathize with the person more than you would be capable of empathizing with anyone else.

To love someone is to feel as if you are part of that person and he or she is a part of you. Meaning, in order for you to truly love this person, you must be capable of giving his or her life as much, if not more, importance as your own.

4. STOP BEING SELFISH AND INCONSIDERATE
For whatever reason, most people seem to think that they don’t need to adjust their personalities when entering a relationship.

The truth is that you do. Being with someone means dealing with that person often and intimately. It means managing to cohabitate without driving each other nuts and without turning the loving relationship into a spiteful one.

You need to learn to be considerate – usually putting your lover’s needs ahead of yours. You should want to give to your partner, even if it means sacrificing on your end. To be in a loving relationship, you have to stop being selfish and inconsiderate and learn to be giving.

5. STOP BEING SO DAMN PICKY AND DIFFICULT TO PLEASE
In life, you don’t always get what you want; deal with it. No one wants to be in a relationship with a person who does nothing but complain and spread negativity. The reason that person is with you is not to hear you bitch and moan about this and that.

Your partner doesn’t want that sh*t in his or her life. What your partner wants are pleasant moments to turn into beautiful memories. He or she wants a positive outlook in life – and that’s impossible when you’re so difficult to please.

6. STOP SLEEPING AROUND
Sex is wonderful – no doubt about that. However, keeping it in your pants is not a natural trait. It’s one that you have to learn. If you keep sleeping around then I can promise that it will be difficult for you to not keep running around. Everybody likes a variety.

Everybody likes mystery and debauchery. Everybody likes risk and excitement. Having sex with hundreds of people is much different from the sex you’ll have with one person over time.

To be honest, you’re doing yourself an injustice by not having someone to explore your sexuality with. You’ve basically been turning the same trick over and over again with different ponies for the last few years.

7. STOP SECOND-GUESSING YOURSELF
The truth is that the grass usually is just as brown and muddy on the other side of the fence as it is on this side. You have to understand that if you never stop searching for something better, you’ll never find what you’re looking for.

The search/chase are very exciting – no argument there. But they are also a means of getting somewhere, not the goal itself. It’s easy to get caught up in the chase, being unable to get yourself out of cycle.

8. STOP THINKING YOU'LL BE ALONE FOREVER
In life, we often get what we settle upon having – so thinking that you’ll never find someone will only increase your chances of never finding someone.

This may sound silly, but you have to believe you will find someone to love. If you don’t believe it can happen then the universe won’t believe it either. Just about anything in life is possible if you believe it to be so. Keep a positive outlook, keep hope and you will find someone to love.

LIFESTYLE: 10 Different Types Of Interesting Travellers You’ll Meet Along Your Adventures

TraveLlers are an incredibly diverse species. After spending some time with them and observing them in their natural habitat, you will come to see that there are particular types of travellers you are guaranteed to come across.

Here is our travel-watcher’s guide for spotting and identifying the eight types of travellers you will meet when you’re on the road and exploring the world:

THE HIPPIE
The hippie is easily identifiable by a few distinguishing features: no shoes, dreadlocks, a bandana and hemp.

I find that the hippie is seldom properly showered and is permanently sporting a particular eau-de-backpacker scent that is a lethal combination of scorching hot days, rooms with no air-conditioning, nights spent on buses and trains, dirt roads and lack of soap.

The hippie, though at times a bit out there, is always an easy person to be around and has no real direction, but is in no rush to get anywhere soon.

THE GAP YEAR
This one is everywhere and is never American. The gap-year traveler is the 18- or 19-year-old traveler who is taking the year off before college.

Young, innocent, sometimes loud and loose but still admirable in a way, the gap year represents something that I wish were more encouraged in the States.

THE INSPIRER
This is my favorite traveler because the inspirer keeps you wanting to travel more. The first people I met who truly inspired me were two girls from the UK who were taking a year to travel around the world.

I remember thinking to myself, “I want to be brave enough to do that.” No matter your own travel story or experience, the inspirer always fuels your passion for all things travel that much more.

THE PARTIER
Like the hippie, the partier is easy to spot. Banged up and bruised, with remnants of neon paint tattooed on his or her skin, looking like he or she needs a break from a break, the partier is often wearing bracelets up to his or her elbows.

They could be a rainbow of rope bracelets acquired from days spent tubing on rivers or a carnival-like collection of festival or club bracelets. They are badges of honor to some and a warning sign to others.

THE KNOW-IT-ALL
The first time I met the know-it-all traveler, I was in a hostel in Thailand and everything she said irritated me to no end. I hate the travelers who try to show off the wealth of worldly knowledge they acquired on adventures and offer unsolicited advice.

This is also the person who feels that he or she must come to understand exactly what the world is all about (and be ready to dispense opinions to anyone who will listen).

THE COMPETITOR
The competitor is almost as bad as the know-it-all traveler and coming across the two of them together is a nightmarish thought. The competitor is constantly looking to brag about how he or she travels and treats traveling like a sport to see who is the better and smarter traveler.

“Oh, you stayed at a hostel for $2 per night? Well, we are on a serious budget, so we pitched a tent behind the public toilets on the side of the garbage-filled road. Didn’t cost us a penny!”

THE FLASHPACKER
There are backpackers and there are flashpackers. Though the flashpacker loves to travel, the nitty-gritty quality of backpacking does not interest him or her; instead, the flashpacker’s style of travel is more luxurious than what suits the backpacker budget.

This is the one who will stay in the more boutiquey accommodations and shell out some extra money for comfort, drinkable beer and decent meals.

The flashpacker packs some decent clothes, is always quite clean and usually is not shy about his or her desire to travel in style. I like that the flashpacker loves to travel but does not try to be something he or she is not by roughing it in budget hostels.

THE ONE FINDING HIM/HERSELF
This is sort of the clichéd traveler, but he or she certainly exists. These are the travelers who are on a journey of self-discovery and who wish to come out of the trip as a new person.

Experiences have shown these can be people who have just come out of long relationships and are on their own again or people who were just genuinely really unhappy with themselves and are looking for something more.

THE COUPLE
There are couples all over the place when you travel. Some of them meet while traveling and others are in long-term relationships and share a passion for traveling together.

Some couples you would not even know are couples, as they do their own thing and are not glued to each other’s side. Some are lovey-dovey but social and others just keep to and stick to themselves.

THE BACKPACKER
I think there is a general and genuine, straight backpacker category. The backpacker can be someone who had a boring 9-to-5 at a desk-bound job and wanted — no, absolutely needed — to escape.

The backpacker can also be someone who realizes that time is not always on our side, so it is best to seize the day while we still can.

The backpacker can sometimes exhibit hints of various combinations of the above types, but ultimately, the backpacker is someone who looks to enjoy his or her time, experience other countries and cultures and figure out a plan along the way by taking things as they come.

NEWS: Eminem Engineer, Steve King Dies Aged 56

Eminem is among the many in the music and recording worlds mourning the death of Steve King, the engineer who won a Grammy in 2003 for "The Eminem Show" and also mixed the rapper's award-winning "Lose Yourself" from the "8 Mile" film soundtrack.

King's resume also included work with Aretha Franklin, Patti Smith, George Clinton, Eminem's D12 crew and its individual members and 50 Cent and members of G-Unit. He died on Tuesday in a suburban Detroit hospital at the age of 56, not long after being diagnosed with liver disease. In a statement, Eminem said that, "I'm very sad to hear about Steve King's passing. I had the honor and pleasure of working with Steve on many projects in my earlier years and he was a greatly talented engineer, musician and friend. I will miss Steve's friendly way and sense of humor the most. My condolences go out to his family and all that knew Steve."

Fellow Eminem collaborator Luis Resto remembered King as "a very genuine, nice human being and good friend" and "the central hub of our team" in the studio. "When we -- (Eminem), Steve and I -- would be in the studio stuck with a technical snafu or creative Rubik's cube to figure out, it was often the calm clarity that Steve had that pushed us through to move forward and on to the next thing."

King established himself first as a musician in the Detroit area, playing in bands such as the Pigs, the Traitors, Paper Hearts, the Boners, the Rushlow-King Combo and, most recently, with poet ML Liebler in Coyote Monk, which was in the process of making an album. King's first job behind the boards was recording vocals for Aretha Franklin's 1982 album "Jump To It," produced by Luther Vandross. He went on to work with Kem, the Winans, the Romantics, Juan Atkins and scores of others, and also shared his craft and insights via monthly forums at a suburban Detroit bar and at schools and youth centers.

"Steve was always cool under pressure," fellow Grammy Award winner and Detroit native Don Was said. "He carried himself with a sweet nature, positive spirit and profound humility that belied his incredible power as a soulful musician and inspired songwriter. His work made a major contribution towards defining the Detroit Sound over the last quarter century. Steve was a wonderful and irreplaceable cat and will be profoundly missed."

RIP STEVE KING!!!

VIDEO: 2Pac Accused Of Rape In 1993 ---> Phone Conversation With Sanyika Shakur In 1995

2Pac tells Sanyika Shakur that the woman who accused him of rape in 1993 was connected to the men who attempted to kill him in 1994.

We've got a pretty crazy news story for you, fam. A previously-unheard phone conversation between 2Pac and Sanyika Shakur (AKA Monster) has just surfaced, and it contains new information about an alleged plot against Pac. According to the man himself, the woman who accused him of rape in 1993 had connections with the people who attacked and shot him in 1994 at the Quad Recording Studio in New York (not the attack that killed him, that was in 1996). As Shakur originally accused Puff Daddy and his associates of orchestrating the attack, this is pretty big news.

First, some background info. In November 1993, a woman accused Pac and his entourage of raping her in a hotel room, and took the rapper to trial on charges of first-degree sexual abuse, to which he pleaded not guilty. The day before the verdict was announced, November 30, 1994, Pac was shot five times by three men in the lobby of the Manhattan recording studio. Despite that connection (coincidental or not), the rapper initially accused Puff Daddy, The Notorious B.I.G. and their associates of putting a hit out on him.

But now, in this phone conversation, Pac is clearly heard saying, "The girl that did this rape shit, she hooked up with the niggas that shot me. It was all connected; it was a big plan. I just caught it at the end, and that's why they shot me." With the alleged sexual assault occurring before the attack, and the attack coming hours before a judge gave Pac a shortened sentence, it definitely seems like someone was trying to get him locked up for a long time, and when they realized that was unlikely to happen, resorted to more violent methods of silencing the star.

As this topic only pops up briefly in this lengthy phone conversation, we don't get much else in the way of helpful information (or identification of the assailants' names or motives), but the reveal of this "big plan" against 2Pac is certainly shocking coming 18 years after his death. Apart from that portion of the conversation (which is around the 12 minute mark), Pac's phone call with Sanyika Shakur also shows how much the rapper cared about supporting communities.

Revealing plans for community centers, children's sporting events, registering voters and asking drug dealers to have the streets clean from 6 AM to 11 PM "for the kids," it's clear to see Pac's investment in making the world a better place. About himself and other rappers, he says, "we got the juice, we just ain't doing nothing with it." Also speaking on his actions taken against a gang that executed a child, Pac was a very rare breed in the rap game. We need more artists to take up his mission to give back to communities and work with gangs to keep children safe.
RIP Pac!

PHOTOS: Chris Brown Welcomed Home From Jail With A Surprise Party

Even though Chris Brown was released from jail earlier this week, he's managed to stay out of the public eye. On Thursday, Breezy gave fans their first real look at him as he was welcomed home by some “loyal” friends and family who threw him a surprise/birthday party in Los Angeles.

In attendance at the BBQ was Big Sean, Tyga, T-Pain, Amber Rose, Power 106 L.A.’s DJ SourMilk, and obviously his girl Karrueche Tran, who looked to have thrown it all together. Breezy later posted a photo on Instagram wearing a black bucket hat, and teasing fans with his first post only to see his bottom half of his face.

T-Pain also posted a photo of Chris and himself on Instagram to give fans a better look at the scruffy 25 year old singer (above). His hair is noticeably longer and he has grown out his facial hair, but more importantly, Chris was described as being focused and healthy while at Thursday's BBQ.

According to TMZ, Breezy is making a pledge to stay away from drugs and gangs, and is putting all his energy into his long-awaited album X!
