NEWS: Ciara & Future Back Together

Back on August 13th, we reported that R&B power couple Future and Ciara had broken off their engagement after Future allegedly cheated on his "Body Party" collaborator with another woman.

But now TMZ is saying that the couple's split only lasted for a few weeks, with the tabloid reporting that their reuniting is "all because Ciara feels strongly about her son needing his father around 24/7."

Apparently Ciara believes that "Future's a good father and that it's best for their son [the four-month-old Future Zahir] if his dad's there."

NEWS: Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, Chairman of The Sun Newspapers Describes Death Of Dimgba Igwe "Tragic, Shocking"

Chairman/ Publisher, The Sun Newspapers, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has described the death of Dimgba Igwe as tragic, shocking and a dark time in the annals of journalism in Nigeria.

In a statement by Managing Director /Editor-in-Chief of the organisation, Femi Adesina, the former Abia State governor said, ”Dimgba Igwe was too much of a gentleman, fine brain and mind to die tragically like this.”

The statement reads; “Mr Igwe passed on today around 10 a.m at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) of injuries suffered from a hit-and-run driver, as he jogged in his Okota, Lagos, neighborhood.

“First aid was administered to him at St. Raphael Hospital, Ago Palace Way, before he was moved to LASUTH for surgical emergency. He did not survive.

Igwe and Mike Awoyinfa added verve to Nigerian journalism when they set up Weekend Concord in 1989.

The duo pioneered The Sun Newspapers in 2003, with Awoyinfa as Managing Director Editor-in-Chief, and Igwe as Deputy Managing Director/Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Igwe was appointed Vice Chairman of the company last year.

A prolific author and columnist, Igwe was a Fellow of the Nigerian Guild of Editors.

He was also Deputy General Overseer of Evangel Pentecostal Church, Okota, Lagos.

He is survived by a wife and four children!

Rev. Chris Oyakhilome has expressed anger over media reports in which his wife ACCUSED him of adultery in a divorce suit in London.

Rev. Oyakhilome said yesterday that the allegation was wicked, malicious and was intended to bring his PERSON and the Christ Embassy Church to public ridicule

According to a public notice advertorial signed by a legal practitioner, Kemi Pinheriro, SAN of the LAW FIRM, Pinheriro and Company based in Lagos, Oyakhilome said that the allegations in the media were nothing but a COMPLETE distortion of the facts in the pending proceedings in the United Kingdom.

Kemi Pinheriro WARNED MEDIA houses to desist from further publication of stories which were false and damaging of “our client’s reputation and THE CHURCH”, stating that they could embark on appropriate legal machinery with a view to protecting their client’s reputation and that of the church!

NEWS: Mr. Dimgba Igwe, Vice Chairman of the Sun Newspapers Dies Aged 58

Mr. Dimgba Igwe, Vice Chairman of the Sun Newspapers, 58, is dead.

He DIED from injuries sustained in an accident, Saturday morning in Lagos.

Mr. Igwe was knocked down by a vehicle while jogging near his residence in Okota AREA OF Lagos.

He was immediately taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery but died afterwards.

Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, chairman of the Sun Publishing Limited described the incident as the darkest DAY IN THE HISTORY of the organization!

NEWS: American Stand-Up Comic & TV Presenter, Joan Rivers Dies Aged 81

Joan Rivers, the acerbic US stand-up comic and television PRESENTER, died on Thursday, a week after being rushed to a New York hospital, her family announced.

She was 81.

“It is with great sadness that I announce THE DEATH OF my mother, Joan Rivers. She passed peacefully at 1:17 pm surrounded by family and close friends,” daughter Melissa Rivers said in a statement.

The Brooklyn-born Rivers had been at Mount Sinai Hospital since she reportedly stopped breathing during a medical procedure on her vocal cords at a PRIVATE clinic on August 28.

Her daughter Melissa and grandson Cooper flew IMMEDIATELY from Los Angeles and kept a vigil at her bedside ever since.

They thanked HOSPITAL STAFF for the “amazing care” they provided the Emmy award-winning comedian and TV host.

“Cooper and I have found ourselves humbled by the outpouring OF LOVE, support and prayers we have received from around the world. They have been heard and appreciated,” Melissa Rivers said.

“My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we RETURN to laughing soon.”
