The single ‘Let Somebody Love You’ was recorded and produced by 2Face’s producer Femi ‘Femdouble’ Ojetunde and features Rocnation artiste, American singer Bridget Kelly.
According to the multiple-award winner, “the idea for the song comes from people who act like they can do without the love and support of other people. The truth, whether we accept it or not, is that everybody needs somebody.”
The duo performed the single for the first time at the Makurdi Rocks date of the Star Trek concert series to a wild and appreciative audience earlier this year.
“This song is all about giving room for more love”, 2Face says. “Like a diamond in the rough, we need to let our light shine through. The healthiest way to do that is by loving and being loved”, he adds, borrowing a line from the second verse of the single!
