Most politicians like to conduct polls to get a taste of public opinion.
Our president, on the other hand, figured it would be much more efficient to just take a walk outside and see how everyone was doing.
President Barack Obama went for a stroll around Washington, DC last Wednesday to greet some locals and tourists in a video called “The President Takes a Surprise Walk.”
Obama not only shook a lot of hands and took plenty of pictures, but also inquired about the personal lives of anyone who wasn’t too shocked to speak.
According to The New York Daily News, after his walk, Obama went to the Department of the Interior to sign a proclamation preserving a federal monument in New Mexico.
