NEWS: Lil' Kim Gives Birth To Baby Girl & Names Her 'Royal Reign'

The self-coronated Queen of Rap is a new mom. Hip-hop veteran Lil' Kim, 39, gave birth to a baby girl named Royal Reign on Monday morning at a hospital in New Jersey, according to multiple outlets that track this sort of thing.

The rapper's rep told E! Online that RR entered this world at 9:58 a.m. at Hackensack University Medical Center, weighing in at 6 pounds, 5 ounces. Us Weekly cited a "source" in their report on Kim's lil' princess.

It's the Grammy-winning rapper's first child; dad is rumoured to be a gentleman named Mr. Papers.

Born Kimberly Denise Jones in Brooklyn, the artist-actress revealed she was pregnant in February at New York Fashion Week.

Lil Kim burst onto the scene in 1996 with her debut solo studio album "Hard Core," which is certified double-platinum in the U.S. She won a Grammy in 2002 for her contribution to the remake of LaBelle's "Lady Marmalade," for the "Moulin Rouge!" soundtrack. She has released two more solo albums since then, 2003's "La Bella Mafia" and 2005's "The Naked Truth."
