NEWS: Names Of The 53 Chibok Secondary School Girls That Escaped From Boko Haram’s Custody


Daily Trust has obtained a list of the 53 Chibok Secondary School girls who escaped from Boko Haram's custody.
The list includes those who escaped on the night of their capture at the Government Secondary School Chibok, Borno State on April 14, as well as those who escaped from the Boko Haram camps where they were being held.
Seven of the girls are Muslims, while the remaining are Christians, according to information provided by their parents.
There has been controversy over the religious identities of the girls who escaped so far, which some commentators suggesting they were all Muslims. But the records obtained show that seven of the girls are Muslims, while the remaining are Christians, according to information provided by their parents.
